Overview
All returns must be received no later than 5 (five) days after the delivery date.
Returns and exchanges are subject to a 30% restocking charge and must be pre-authorized. In addition the item must be in new or same condition as shipped and must include all instructions, packaging and original packing material. Any damages to items returned will be deducted from return payment.
If third party equipment financing was provided and used for purchasing goods absolutely no returns will be permitted once contracts have been executed and funding has been completed.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
The manufacturer offers a one-year warranty, and the local service center can perform approved repairs.
Refunds
All orders placed on items not in stock or that have a lead time to import will be subject to a 30% cancellation fee.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or free warranty repair.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your account or original method of payment, within a certain number of days.
Exchanges
If you received an incorrect item that was shipped and deemed to be to the fault of OpenBusiness Africa Limited no extra charges will be incurred. We will replace incorrect items and pay the additional shipping charge.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged and deemed to be to the fault of OpenBusiness Africa Limited . If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at openbusiness@openworld.co.ke and send your item to: Junction Trade Centre, 6th Floor.
There will be no returns on pre-owned, demoed products, or special order items (no exceptions).
Shipping returns
Send exchanges and returns to OpenBusiness Africa Limited, Kenneth Matiba Road, Junction Trade Center, 6th Floor open 8.00AM – 5:00PM.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers will pay all return shipping charges, even in the event that FREE shipping was offered at the time of order. Original shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable.
These amounts will be deducted from the original amount billed and the remaining balance will be credited and refunded by return bank transfer within 15-30 business days.
